Treatment Methods

Manual Therapy: Manual therapy is a specialized physical therapy method that uses specific, hands-on technique without the use of devices or machines. Dr. Briddell is an Ola Grimsby certified orthopedic manual therapist.

Laser Therapy: Laser therapy is a safe, effective, and non-invasive way to treat pain and aid in the recovery process.  Laser treatments work by releasing photons into the tissues surrounding the area being treated.  Phirst Physical Therapy, Inc. uses LightForce Therapy Lasers.

Electrical Stimulation: Electrical stimulation is a safe and effective method of treatment that can provide pain relief and recovery for several conditions.  It has a variety of benefits to decrease swelling, reduce muscle spasm, improve range of motion, increase local circulation, and more.

Ultrasound: Ultrasound therapy uses sound waves to treat conditions that affect muscles, ligaments and bones by creating vibrations that generate heat.

Joint Mobilization: Joint mobilization is a type of manual therapy that involves passive movement of specific joints using force, direction, and technique.  Your therapist may use their hands, tools or straps to perform. Joint mobilization isn’t appropriate for all patients, our therapists can determine if it’s right for you.

Therapeutic Exercise: Therapeutic exercise is a great way to restore function and help you on the path to a pain free lifestyle. Constantly resting while in pain can lead to muscle weakness and prolong the healing process. Your therapist may prescribe muscle performance, balance and coordination, posture, range of motion, area-specific or relaxation exercises. Office Location: I’ve included pictures of the location, please add.
