Dr. Derrick Briddell, PT

Dr. Derrick Briddell, PT Dr. Briddell completed his B.S. in Physical Therapy at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 1994. In 2001, he received his M.S. in Management/Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland University College. Dr. Briddell has completed physical therapy residencies and executive management programs. He completed his Post-Professional Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland at Baltimore School of Medicine in 2005. Dr. Briddell is a Physical Therapist with over 27 years of experience in sports, orthopedics, neurological, musculoskeletal, spine, and geriatrics, and pediatrics. He serves as the Vice President of the American Academy of Physical Therapy (AAPT) and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Dr. Briddell is the owner and President of Phirst Physical Therapy, Inc. When Dr. Briddell is not overseeing business operations he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, traveling, playing golf, and enjoying sports, he is an avid follower of hometown teams. Dr. Briddell believes in partnering with and empowering patients and families to reach their treatment goals and maximum potential.
