I had my right foot operated on, I had to wear a boot which was very heavy + hard to walk with. After 6 weeks my doctor sent me to Phirst Physical Therapy, to help me get back into an everyday shoe. They worked one on one with me + were very helpful in just 4 weeks I was in my everyday shoes. The staff was very nice to work with.

Excellent Doctor and Excellent Care!! Dr. Briddell is very focused on solving your problems. Ashlee and Pat who run the front desk welcome you from the start. I highly recommend this professional office to anyone who has an ache or pain.

First of all I couldn't ask for a nicer therapist. He explains things to help me better understand., and as for Ashley the receptionist, she is so sweet. Before coming to Phirst PT I was at another therapy place and they said that I was good to go and that I was doing great. I was not doing great! So I decided to find another therapist. I could not walk very far and now my pain is so little that I don't want to say I have any.

I have been suffering with sciatic pain on and off for years. I made an appointment with Phirst Physical Therapy. I met with Dr. Derrick Briddell 2-3 times a week at which time I received personalized physical therapy in a friendly and informative atmosphere. Dr. Briddell’s regimen of exercises and his suggestions regarding various exercises I could do at home helped me become pain free. Dr. Briddell is an excellent physical therapist and I would recommend Phisrt Physical Therapy to my friends.

In the beginning of May I started with a log of pain in my right foot, mostly my heel. I could barely walk. I ended up in a boot for 4 to 6 weeks. After a few weeks it was suggested that I do therapy. I went to Phirst Physical Therapy with Dr. Briddell. I visited on May 23rd for my first session. I went twice a week. He showed me a few other options but did not pressure me. Dr. Briddell listens and explains everything thoroughly. I felt very confident in the treatment I received. This is a privately owned practice and not one of the corporation owned places. I would highly recommend this office for your therapy. I was released from therapy but will continue to do my exercises that Dr. Briddell requested I do.

I have been a relatively healthy person. Have head lower back issues for 50 years, but have been able to deal with them with PT from time to time. However, when I turned 80 years old, I developed concerns about my left hip. As the year progressed so did the discomfort - so that is was about a 4 - 5 on a scale of 1 to 10. As the year progressed I could not put my left sock on, had to lift the left leg to get in the car, after long car rides experienced more discomfort for a while, I began limping with the left leg, and about 4 months ago gave up my morning walks! I began to wonder if I needed a hip replacement. Finally after an 800 mile round trip to visit family - and all of the hip misery that went along with it, I decided to see an orthopedic doctor. No more excused, like blaming the sitting during the pandemic! THEN I saw the ad for Phirst Physical Therapy! I read Dr. Derrick Briddell PT’s list of areas of expertise/experience for 27 years. Myself, having a background in healthcare, decided this is how I wanted to begin this recovery. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Office staff was beyond helpful. Dr. Briddell made me feel comfortable immediately. I was really nervous about this first appointment, but didn’t need to be! He listened to my story, assessed the situation, walked me through a few gentle exercises and made sure I understood the importance of doing my part at home in between appointments. He started each visit by asking what my level of pain was. He watched me exercise, corrected my mistakes and added more exercises as I could tolerate them. He told me over and over to give him feedback. For example, one exercise was too uncomfortable, I told him and he immediately put it on hold. He said NO PAIN - NO GAIN does not apply here! I was so relieved. So, here I am - a month later, with appointments 3 days a week plus exercises he wrote doen for me to do at home. I can put my left sock on! I no longer need to lift my leg to get into the car! I limp once in a while - but believe it is a habit that I have not broken as of yet because I can stop the limp when I want. I have started my mile walk again! Slow yes - but walking! I am not experiencing the discomfort after short car rides that I had experienced before PT! I have so much hope. BUT! Dr. Briddell has suggested that I do see an orthopedic doctor to rule our hip issues that need attention. Meanwhile I will continue my exercises.  If down the road, I need PT again, I will definitely get the doctor’s order and make my appointment with Dr. Briddell! He individualized my physical therapy. He listened to me.
